Installation DAY FAQ

Not at all! Many of our customers aren’t home the day of install. As long as we have access to the garage—via garage code, remote, or a way to open and close the door—we’re all set. Just make sure the door leading into your home from the garage is locked.

We do ask that all items be temporarily removed from the garage before we arrive. While we normally don’t move items in or out, we’re happy to help with something heavy if you’re on-site and need an extra hand.

We aren’t typically able to return to help move items back in, but we can refer you to a trusted local moving team that’s properly equipped to handle everything with care. Many customers find it helpful to pair this service with a portable storage container (like Go Mini’s) for a smooth experience from start to finish.

We kindly ask that you don’t. Power washing before installation can trap moisture in the concrete, which may delay your project. Just make sure your garage is cleared out—we’ll handle the rest of the prep!

You can walk on your floor and move lighter items back in 24 hours after we finish. Heavier items and cars should wait at least 48 hours to ensure everything is fully cured.

Yes, please! We ask that you leave the garage door open the rest of the day, overnight, and even the following day if possible. This helps with proper ventilation and supports the curing process.

We recommend Two Broke Bartenders, a Memphis-based moving company that can assist with moving items out and back in after installation. For storage, we suggest Go Mini’s—they offer 12' and 16' portable containers that can be delivered ahead of time for your convenience. Let us know and we’ll get you in touch!
